About Us
Who We Are
We are the independent editorial team behind officeshopvictor.com.au, an information and review website focused on pokies near me for readers across Australia. Our role is to research, compare and explain — nothing more. We are not a gambling operator, we do not run pokies venues or online casinos, and we never accept bets, deposits or wagers of any kind. Everything you find on this site is content: guides, reviews and informational articles written to help you understand your options.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple: to help readers in Australia make informed, safe choices when searching for pokies near me. The landscape of venues, providers and offers can be confusing, and marketing claims don't always match reality. We aim to cut through the noise with clear, honest and practical information, so you can decide what — if anything — suits you, on your own terms.
What We Cover
Officeshopvictor.com.au is built around one topic: pokies near me in Australia. On this site you'll find content covering:
- How to find and compare pokies venues and options in your area
- Reviews of pokies providers, games and platforms available to Australian players
- Explanations of how pokies work, including RTP, volatility and game features
- Guides on bonuses, promotions and the terms and conditions behind them
- Practical advice on safety, licensing and what to look out for before you play
- Information on responsible gambling tools and support services available in Australia
Editorial Independence
To keep this site running, we may earn affiliate commissions when readers follow links to third-party operators and sign up or play. This comes at no extra cost to you. Importantly, commissions do not influence our editorial rankings, ratings or reviews. Our assessments are based on our own research and criteria, and commercial relationships play no part in how we order, score or describe the options we cover. If we wouldn't recommend something on its merits, no commission changes that.
Our Commitment to Responsible Gambling
Gambling should always be treated as entertainment, never as a way to make money or solve financial problems. Our content is intended strictly for adults aged 18 and over — or the legal gambling age in your part of Australia, whichever applies. We encourage every reader to set limits, only gamble with money they can afford to lose, and take regular breaks. If gambling stops being fun, or if you're worried about your own play or someone else's, free and confidential help is available through services such as Gambling Help Online (1800 858 858) and state-based support programs across Australia.
